Methods of Creating A Clipping Path with Photoshop
There are two different methods of creating a clipping path using photoshop. One is the regular method of clipping path creation, and another is a little faster process.

Method 1: The Regular Method
Step 1
Use the pen tool to create a part around the image area which will be at the silhouette.
Step 2
Now, select the path panel where you will get to save the path from the panel menu. To find out the option, you have to hover up to the right-top corner of the control panel of photoshop. Afterward, you have to name the path.
Sometimes in some versions of Photoshop, the save option might not be visible. If so, you can consider that your path is already visible.
Step 3
Now, go to the same panel menu, and select the clipping path. A dialogue box named Clipping Path will appear. Now, select the path from the drop-down options. After selecting, press OK.
There will be a Flatbed Device Pixels option, which is blank in usual cases. If you need to change it, make sure you know the device pixel that is being created for the silhouette. The higher the amount, the fewer the points are.
Step 4
Now, select the File Option and the Save As option from there. There will be a format drop-down option, where you need to select Photoshop EPS. There can be a dialogue box, which should be pressed with OK.
Method 2: The Fast Method
This is even a faster method to create a clipping path and cutout images using Photoshop.
Step 1
Create a path around the image item that is subjected to the task. Make sure that you are working on the photo layer, not the background layer. You can convert the background to a layer by holding down the Alt Key or the Option Key(in Mac).
Step 2
Go to the Layers panel, and click on Add Layer Mask option. It will create a vector mask for the path. And this will turn everything outside the path transparent.
Step 3
Your clipping path is already created. Now, click on the Save As option from the File dropdown menu. The format should be in PSD format.
If you want to open up the image with other Adobe applications, you should select the Choose File and then put the image with the clipping path included.
